Cordial Accounts: Users and Organizations

These are managed on the Cordial Portal, they are the backbone of API authentication.

Users​

If you have no Cordial (User) Account yet, visit the Cordial Portal, and click on "Sign up".

  • If your organization uses Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) as identity provider, we recommend you click on the "Google" or "Microsoft" button
  • If not, you can type your email address, select a password, and will receive an email verification code in your inbox

You can then update your profile (upload an avatar image, set your first or last name, change password).
If you signed up with the second method, you can still click "Connect account" later and use your identity provider.

For existing customers, we can also offer full SSO via SAML (instead of OIDC), please contact us if you are interested in this.
One advantage is that once setup, email and password login for users in your organisation are deactivated.

Organizations​

Access to the Admin and Oracle APIs is structured by organization:

  • Treasury instances and their metadata
  • API keys
  • Oracle API address subscriptions

are each tied to an organization.

Reach out to Cordial Systems if your Cordial Portal page does not list an organization (or invitation).
It would be visible in the dropdown just below the "Sign out" button.

If you are the first in your organization, please add your email domain to "Verified domains".
Once done, you can select one of:

  • automatic enrollment
  • automatic invitations
  • automatic suggestions

to allow other users in your organization with the same email domain to join the Organization.
